My baby's announcement...
Well I know that I haven't written in a really long time, but that is what being on Maternity Leave and having a daughter will do to you. I don't have time and I don't have a computer either. I am using my mother in laws. (So this entry is courtesty of her.)I had Cirrus Marie Simpton on 1/14/02 at 09:54am and she weighed 8lbs. 11.8oz. and she was 20in. long. She has 1.5" long black/blondish red hair. With blue/green eyes that I am hoping stay that way. She is so beautiful. I don't have any pics. to email around yet but I am working on it. She is incredible. She already sleeps thru the night mostly. When I took her to the doctor for her second heel stick test she weighed 9lbs. 8oz. already and has grown an inch. Pretty good for being 2 weeks old at the time. Don't you think? I don't feel any different but I do. I don't know how to describe it. When she first was born and Justen would leave in the morning to go to work I would just cry, because I missed him sooo much. I still get a little emotional but only because I miss him so much. I can't believe that I have her and didn't have her before. How strange is that? That I lived my life just fine without her? I can't imagine not having her now. Not having her beautiful little face to look at whenever I so desire (which is a lot of the time). I can't think what it would be like to not have her grunting and squirming and making all kinds of strange and beautiful noises all the time. I'm a MOM??? Do you know how weird that is for me? My friends are like, Oh my God, you're a mommy? Its strange. I went to Jack in the Box and my friend watched her for me for lik 20 mins. when I was gone and I went into a mild grade panic attack wondering if she was crying or if she was okay or sleeping or if she missed me (which is absurd she was asleep the whole time I was gone) or what little faces she was making. I love her. Its incredible. I will write next time I get a chance. Love,
