Bah Hum Bug turned into WOO HOO!!
Okay, it is only raining so hard it looks like we are going to be washed away. So I am a bit cold and I almost busted my pregnant ass coming inside from my lunch break. NOT ENTIRELY ENJOYABLE for me. So yesterday, I was all pissed off because I hadn't been paid and I had to cancel my doctors appointment and reschedule it and all that crap. Well that wasn't the topper of my bad day. I got off work at like 3:30 when I got my check and went home (over to Tamara's House) and ate 2 chili dogs and we left. I was intending to just go to the bank, deposit part of my check and make a partial car payment right?? Well on the way to the bank, I ran over something sharp and metal and I made it to the bank and did my errand there and then by the time I got 1 mile down the road I had a flat tire. We went to the cigarette/clove shop right by the car wash we'd pulled into and called Tamara's husband Tim and told him to come and change my tire. A half hour went by. An hour went by and we see him fly by us going like 55 miles an hour and we wait another half hour thinking that he'd turn around. NOPE. He figured we'd already been picked up and helped. So this nice man asked if I needed him to change my tire and so he did and I got to wal mart and by this time its only like 6:30pm and I was the last car that they were going to take for a tire. (YAAAY) This is where I start to have a better day. The guy is done about 7 or so with changing my tire and he pulls my car over to the side of the building and he gave me the keys and I asked him if I should go inside and pay for it, and he said no, don't worry about it. I GOT A FREE $70.00 tire!!! I was like,"you're a blessing!!!" and jumped in my car and drove away. Then I went home, Tamara is the best, she helped me carry all my junk that was in my trunk (and there was a lot - 2 trips worth) into the apartment, and then I went to Kroger's and bought pork chops and mustard greens and black eyed peas and a bunch of yummy food. Got home, and Tamara and Tim showed me how to make pork chops the Soul Food way and then I made the greens and peas (the greens didn't turn out cause not all the dirt grits had been washed off) All in all it was really good. Until me and Justen got into it cause he didn't believe me that I got the tire free and was all bitchy about me getting a flat and being rude in general because he didn't want to eat corn dogs again. (poor thing had been eating them for like EVERY meal.) SO he took 20 bucks out of the bank (at an ATM that wasn't ours - $1.50 fee please!!) and so that made us -$4.50 in our account. I transferred $50 dollars into our savings and didn't tell him, cause I know he's just take that out if he thought he needed it. I'm going to put money in there each pay day and not tell him. Then I might use some of it to get him stuff for christmas. WHAT THE HECK AM I GOING TO GET HIM!!!! Damn... Double Damn... Cologne?? Clothes?? FUCK!! Then this morning Justen woke up and got dressed and when I was up and sitting on the edge of the bed he came and hugged on me and rubbed on my shoulders and back and kissed on me. Then he made me english muffins with Cream Cheese and Marmalade and hugged me more. I LOVE HIM> I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT MARRYING HIM!! _________________________________ Did I tell you that he asked me to marry him about 2 weeks ago?? He asked me in the movies parking lot. I think that is really fitting because I LOVE MOVIES, and I LOVE HIM!! He is the greatest. Tim said I'm hard on him and Tamara said that he needs to stop meddlin'. (She always says that) and they both agree that you can tell we love each other a lot. -in love was the words they used- Laters, I love y'all and Merry Christmas
